From the very first announcement to the final celebration, Living Room Storiez, an event branding agency in Kolkata, proudly partnered with Lopamudra Production and Dohar. Together, we transformed the creative vision of Sahaj Parav Season 8 into a memorable festival experience. Every design, visual, and campaign helped connect the festival with its audience.
A Celebration of India’s Living Folk Heritage
From 6th to 8th February 2026, Sahaj Parav Season 8 celebrated India’s rich folk culture in Kolkata. Organised by Lopamudra Production and Dohar, the festival brought together music, traditions, and stories from different parts of the country.
The festival began with a grand opening at the historic Indian Museum. The event was open to everyone. As a result, it attracted one of the biggest crowds in Sahaj Parav’s history.
After that, the festival continued at GD Birla Sabhaghar. There, talented folk artists from across India performed and shared their traditions. Together, they gave the audience a memorable cultural experience.
After working on Season 7, Living Room Storiez was happy to be part of the festival once again. However, our role was not to create a new identity for Sahaj Parav. Instead, we focused on making its existing identity stronger across every platform.
From the first announcement to the final event update, we created posters, social media creatives, and promotional content. At the same time, we kept the same visual style across every design. As a result, every creative reflected the true spirit of Sahaj Parav and helped the festival reach more people.

The Official Announcement
The First Step in Event Branding
Every great festival begins with a strong first impression. So, the journey of Sahaj Parav Season 8 started with its official announcement poster.
Designed by Living Room Storiez, it was the first visual that introduced the festival to the public. More importantly, it created excitement and gave people a first look at what was coming. As a result, it marked the beginning of the festival’s creative journey.
This announcement was more than just a promotional poster. Instead, it became the starting point of the festival’s visual identity. Our goal was to create excitement while staying true to the look and feel of Sahaj Parav. Therefore, we kept the design simple, attractive, and easy to recognise on digital platforms.
From this first creative, every poster and campaign followed the same visual style. As a result, Sahaj Parav Season 8 maintained a strong and consistent identity throughout its promotional journey.

Creative Posters That Kept Sahaj Parav Season 8 Alive
Keeping the Excitement Alive
As the festival came closer, our campaign grew step by step. To build excitement, we created a series of creative posters. These included artist announcements, programme schedules, and important festival updates. As a result, people stayed informed and looked forward to the event. At the same time, every design followed the same visual style.
One of the biggest highlights was the artist announcement campaign. Through these posters, people got to know the amazing artists who would perform at Sahaj Parav Season 8.

Parvin Sultana brought the beauty of Bengal’s Kirtan and devotional folk music to the festival. Meanwhile, Palestinian violinist Akram Abdulfattah introduced audiences to his special Indo-Arabian music, combining Arabic and modern sounds.
Next, we introduced NIMAD – Under the Neem Tree. The group shared the colourful folk traditions of Madhya Pradesh through music, storytelling, and traditional performances. In addition, audiences discovered Lakkhan Das Baul, who continues the spiritual Baul tradition of Bengal.
The journey then continued with MIHUN. The group presented the lively folk music and dance of Manipur. As a result, audiences enjoyed the rich culture of Northeast India.
Finally, the festival ended with a memorable performance by Padma Shri Prahlad Singh Tipanya and internationally acclaimed Parvathy Baul. Together, they celebrated the music and philosophy of India’s folk traditions.
Throughout the campaign, every artist poster was designed with care. More importantly, each design introduced the artists while creating excitement for the festival. In the end, these creatives helped make Sahaj Parav Season 8 a memorable cultural celebration.
From Arrival to Applause:
Creating the Event Branding Experience
Building a Complete Festival Experience
Creating a successful cultural festival is about more than performances. Instead, it is about creating an experience that people remember. From the moment visitors arrive until the event ends, every detail matters.
For Sahaj Parav Season 8, Living Room Storiez worked closely with Lopamudra Production and Dohar to build one strong visual identity. As a result, every branding element looked connected. From the entrance gate to the stage visuals, every design reflected the spirit of this celebrated folk music festival.
Entrance Gate
The entrance gate created the first impression of Sahaj Parav Season 8. Therefore, it needed to be both welcoming and memorable.
Designed by Living Room Storiez, the gate reflected the festival’s identity through its colours, graphics, and overall design. As visitors entered, they immediately felt the spirit of the celebration. In addition, the entrance became one of the most photographed spots during the festival.

Tickets
Every festival ticket is more than an entry pass. It is also part of the overall experience.
Therefore, we designed the tickets to match the festival’s visual identity. From the colours and typography to the layout, every detail followed the same branding style. As a result, the tickets looked simple, attractive, and easy to recognise.

Standees
Standees were placed across both venues. They helped visitors find important locations and stay informed throughout the festival.
At the same time, they strengthened the festival’s branding. Designed by Living Room Storiez, every standee balanced creativity with clear communication. As a result, visitors could easily navigate the venue while staying connected to the festival’s identity.

Checkerboards
Every great event creates lasting memories. Therefore, we designed checkerboards that became the official backdrop for photographs.
Artists, guests, media, and visitors used them throughout the festival. Because of this, the branding appeared in newspapers, online articles, and social media posts. Even after the festival ended, these photographs continued to promote Sahaj Parav Season 8.

Lighting the Stage with Creativity
The stage is the heart of every cultural festival. Therefore, the visuals around it must support every performance.
For Sahaj Parav Season 8, Living Room Storiez designed the complete LED stage graphics. Throughout the festival, the visuals remained consistent. At the same time, they enhanced every performance without taking attention away from the artists.
Main Stage LED
The main stage LED was designed to support the performers. Instead of dominating the stage, it created the right atmosphere for every act.
As each artist performed, the visuals changed naturally to match the mood. Parvin Sultana’s devotional Kirtan, Akram Abdulfattah’s Indo-Arabian music, NIMAD – Under the Neem Tree’s folk traditions, Lakkhan Das Baul’s spiritual performances, MIHUN’s vibrant Manipuri presentation, and the unforgettable collaboration between Padma Shri Prahlad Singh Tipanya and Parvathy Baul all had visuals that complemented their performances.
As a result, every performance felt more immersive. Most importantly, the stage always reflected the identity of Sahaj Parav Season 8.

Side LED Displays
The side LED displays completed the stage experience. They extended the festival’s visual identity across the auditorium.
In addition, they ensured that audiences from every corner enjoyed the same visual experience. Together with the main LED screen, they created a consistent and engaging atmosphere. As a result, the stage branding became an important part of the festival’s overall identity.
Beyond the Venue, Beyond the Celebration
A successful cultural festival doesn’t end when the performances are over. In today’s digital world, every event continues to live through social media, videos, photographs, and online conversations. As the official creative partner for Sahaj Parav Season 8, Living Room Storiez extended the festival experience beyond the venue through strategic social media management, creative campaigns, digital storytelling, and event promotion, helping audiences across India stay connected with one of Kolkata’s most celebrated folk music festivals.
Keeping the Conversation Alive
The journey of Sahaj Parav Season 8 was shared long before visitors entered the venue and continued well after the final performance. Our team planned and managed the festival’s complete social media communication, ensuring audiences never missed an important update. From artist announcements and programme schedules to live event coverage, audience engagement, and post-event highlights, every post was designed to strengthen the festival’s online presence while maintaining a consistent visual identity.
Through carefully planned social media marketing and timely communication, we helped build excitement around performances by Parvin Sultana, Akram Abdulfattah, NIMAD – Under the Neem Tree, Lakkhan Das Baul, MIHUN, Padma Shri Prahlad Singh Tipanya, and Parvathy Baul, ensuring that audiences remained engaged throughout the three-day celebration.

Spreading the Spirit of Sahaj Parav
Every creative campaign played an important role in promoting Sahaj Parav Season 8 to a wider audience. As a leading creative agency in Kolkata, Living Room Storiez developed promotional creatives that reflected the festival’s rich cultural heritage while communicating important information in a simple and engaging way.
Artist announcements, programme updates, countdown creatives, festival reminders, and promotional campaigns were all created using one consistent visual identity. This approach strengthened the festival’s branding across digital platforms and helped audiences instantly recognise every official communication associated with Sahaj Parav Season 8.
Capturing Moments That Matter
Great festivals create unforgettable memories, and our responsibility was to ensure those memories reached audiences beyond the venue. Living Room Storiez produced a series of promotional reels and short-form videos that captured the energy, colour, and emotion of Sahaj Parav Season 8.
From the overwhelming response during the open-to-all inaugural evening at the Indian Museum to the captivating performances by internationally acclaimed artists and folk musicians, every reel documented the festival’s unique journey. Highlights featuring Akram Abdulfattah’s Indo-Arabian compositions, MIHUN’s energetic Manipuri folk performance, the spiritual music of Lakkhan Das Baul, and the remarkable collaboration between Padma Shri Prahlad Singh Tipanya and Parvathy Baul allowed audiences who could not attend the festival to experience its magic through digital storytelling.
These creative videos not only increased audience engagement but also helped extend the reach of Sahaj Parav Season 8, making the celebration visible far beyond Kolkata and strengthening its digital presence across multiple platforms.

At every stage, our focus remained the same. We wanted to build one strong and consistent visual identity for Sahaj Parav Season 8.
Most importantly, every design had a clear purpose. We wanted more people to discover the festival, experience its beauty, and remember its stories. Because of this, every creative was carefully planned and thoughtfully designed.
In the end, seeing audiences engage with our creatives, share their experiences online, and celebrate the festival made the entire journey truly rewarding.
Preserving Stories, Creating Experiences
A Journey We’ll Always Remember
As the lights dimmed and the final performance ended, Sahaj Parav Season 8 came to a close. However, its music, culture, and memories will stay with everyone for years to come.
For Living Room Storiez, this was more than just another project. Instead, it was a chance to support a festival that celebrates India’s rich folk heritage. Most importantly, it allowed us to connect people through creative design and visual storytelling.
We sincerely thank Lopamudra Production and Dohar for trusting us once again. Because of their support, we were proud to be part of another successful season.

From the first announcement to the final social media post, every creative was designed with care. Along with posters, we created branding materials, stage visuals, reels, short videos, and digital campaigns. At every stage, our focus was clear—to keep the festival’s identity strong and consistent.
As a creative agency in Kolkata, we believe great event branding is more than good design. Instead, it is about creating experiences that people remember. Therefore, we look forward to telling more stories and bringing many more events to life through creativity and design.
